She has devoted to commercial photography especially advertising of jewellery and architecture.In art photography has dedicated still life, landscape and experimental photography. Completed study of Hight school of Photography in 1968-72 and graduated The Film and Television Fakulty of the Academy of Musical Arts /FAMU/ in 1977.
She works as independent photographer since 1977. Ivana is a member of Association of Professional Photographers of Czech Republic /AF/.Since 1994 is a board member and Past President of this association. In 1999 has participated in establishing of Museum of Photography in Czech Republic.
Since 1994 has representatived APF in Federation of European Photographers and she is Vice President of the Federation of European Photographers FEP.
In 2004 was awarded the title „Qualified European Photographer“. As an editor of the book „Qualified European Photographer“ was awarded the titule „ Photographic Book of the year 2005 in Italian Orvieto.
